This internship provides practical exposure to defensive cybersecurity workflows through supervised security assessments, log analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability identification, documentation, and incident-response exercises in authorized environments.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with monitoring security events and alerts under supervision.
- Review security logs and identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
- Assist with basic vulnerability assessment activities in authorized environments.
- Document identified security findings and observations.
- Support security testing and validation activities.
- Assist with reviewing system and network security configurations.
- Learn and apply basic cybersecurity best practices.
- Support investigation of simulated or authorized security incidents.
- Maintain security-related reports, trackers, and documentation.
- Assist with reviewing access-control and authentication practices.
- Research common cybersecurity threats and defensive techniques.
- Support security awareness and documentation activities.
- Follow organizational security policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Escalate potential security issues to the appropriate technical team.




- Participate in cybersecurity training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
