About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team on an hourly contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely with a focus on AI research and evaluation projects that push the boundaries of current cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience in security engineering, incident response, and governance to develop realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios.

These scenarios will serve as benchmarks for evaluating AI models and security tools, ensuring they reflect real-world security operations, incident handling, and compliance standards. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of threat landscapes and the ability to design comprehensive security assessments that challenge and validate AI systems.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO, or Security Lead.



They should have a proven track record of managing incident response, security architecture, or compliance initiatives within complex organizational environments. A strong understanding of security operations, cybersecurity tools, risk management frameworks, and current threat trends is essential.

Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is required. Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills are necessary to articulate complex security concepts clearly and effectively. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to develop and implement security scenarios and assessment frameworks that mirror real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive cybersecurity scenarios that encompass Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture design.
- Create detailed tasks and exercises across threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domains.
- Design and implement scenarios utilizing industry-standard tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and enterprise GRC platforms.
- Apply threat modeling, incident response,



and risk assessment methodologies to develop realistic and challenging security scenarios.
- Produce detailed reference materials including incident reports, security assessments, architecture diagrams, and compliance documentation to support evaluation processes.
- Develop evaluation rubrics that effectively differentiate authentic enterprise security judgment from generic or textbook knowledge, ensuring rigorous assessment standards.
