Tharani Infra Private Limited is looking for an experienced Manager - Costing / Billing Engineer to manage client billing, subcontractor billing, measurements, variations, bill certification, and commercial documentation for interior fit-out projects.

The role requires strong site coordination, measurement knowledge, documentation discipline, and the ability to convert completed work into timely and accurate billing.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare client RA bills based on approved BOQ, site progress, and measured quantities.
- Coordinate with site teams to collect accurate measurements and billing data.
- Prepare and maintain measurement sheets and supporting billing documents.
- Track bill submission, certification, approval, and payment status.
- Prepare subcontractor bills based on actual executed quantities and work orders.
- Verify subcontractor claims before certification.
- Identify and document extra items, additional works, and variations.
- Prepare variation bills with proper supporting documents, drawings, and approvals.
- Follow up with clients, consultants, and project teams for bill certification.
- Maintain billing trackers for submitted, certified, pending, and paid amounts.
- Reconcile billed quantities with BOQ quantities and actual site progress.
- Coordinate with QS, Project Managers, Accounts, Procurement,



and Costing teams.
- Maintain records of work orders, amendments, approvals, measurements, and commercial correspondence.
- Support final bill preparation and project account closure.
- Ensure no completed work is missed from billing due to lack of documentation.
- Monitor certification delays and highlight commercial risks to management.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 7-10+ years of experience in billing, preferably in interior fit-out or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of RA billing, measurements, BOQ, variations, and subcontractor billing.
- Positive understanding of civil and interior finishing works.
- Strong Excel skills and experience in billing trackers and measurement sheets.
- Good documentation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, site teams, and accounts.
- Experience in corporate interiors, retail, hospitality, restaurants, automobile showrooms, or commercial projects will be an advantage.
