Kaliyaganj Agro Trading Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Cost Accountant to join our factory operations and manage costing, inventory control, production-related accounting, and financial analysis.

The candidate will work closely with the Factory, Production, Purchase, Stores and Accounts teams to ensure accurate costing and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain product-wise and process-wise cost sheets.
- Calculate and monitor raw material, labour, power, overhead and production costs.
- Track actual cost vs. standard/budgeted cost and analyze variances.
- Monitor raw material, finished goods and WIP inventory.
- Reconcile physical stock with book/ERP records and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare factory costing and MIS reports for management.
- Analyze production yield, wastage, consumption and material variances.
- Monitor manufacturing overheads and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores,



Purchase and Accounts departments.
- Assist in monthly closing, stock valuation and management reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting of manufacturing costs.
- Support internal/external audits and provide costing-related data.
- Maintain accurate costing records and improve costing systems/processes.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Management Accounting.
- Good understanding of manufacturing/factory costing.
- Knowledge of inventory valuation, WIP, BOM, variance analysis and overhead allocation.
- Good command of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred.
- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work with factory and production teams.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
