About the Role

We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and energetic Control Room Operator to audio-visual systems, and technical operations during regular business hours, events, and special programs.

The candidate will be responsible for audio equipment, managing sound and visual systems, monitoring technical performance, and ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for guests.

The ideal candidate should have astrong technical understanding of audio equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues quickly and calmly.

Key Responsibilities

Operate sound systems, mixers, controllers, microphones, speakers, and other audio equipment.

Monitor sound quality, volume levels, microphone output, and overall audio performance.

Operate control room equipment for audio, video, lighting, and other integrated systems.

Monitor screens, displays, visual content, and other AV systems during operations and events.

Coordinate music, audio, visuals, and lighting requirements for events and special programs.

Conduct sound checks and technical checks before operations, performances, or events.

Ensure all technical equipment is properly set up, connected, and functioning before use.

Monitor equipment during live operations and respond quickly to technical issues.

Troubleshoot basic audio, video, connectivity, and equipment-related problems.

Coordinate with technical, operations, content, and management teams whenever required.

Maintain proper organization and handling of music libraries,



playlists, media files, and technical resources.

Ensure equipment is handled carefully and stored safely after use.

Maintain basic records of equipment issues, maintenance requirements, and technical incidents.

Report equipment faults, damage, or maintenance requirements to the concerned manager.

Assist with equipment setup, dismantling, and repositioning for events and special activities.

Ensure appropriate sound levels and technical settings are maintained throughout operations.

Follow all safety procedures while operating electrical and technical equipment.

Suggest music, technical, and entertainment ideas to improve the overall guest experience.

Maintain professional conduct and appearance while interacting with guests and team members.

Perform other AV, and technical support responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

1–5 years of relevant experience as a Sound Operator, AV Operator, Control Room Operator, or similar role preferred.

Candidates with practical experience in live sound, events, or AV operations are encouraged to apply.

Good knowledge of DJ equipment, mixers, controllers, microphones, speakers, and sound systems.

Basic understanding of audio and video signal flow and connectivity.

Familiarity with commonly used DJ software and music management systems.





Good knowledge of music genres and ability to select music according to the audience and occasion.

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Valuable listening skills and attention to sound quality.

Ability to remain calm and respond quickly to technical issues during live operations.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Physically fit and comfortable handling equipment when required.

Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and technically attentive.

Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and during special events as required.
