We are looking for an experienced and qualified Consultant Radiologist to join a reputed hospital in Bhubaneswar. The consultant will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, providing accurate reports, and working closely with clinicians and other specialists to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and report various diagnostic imaging studies including:
- X-Ray
- Ultrasound
- CT Scan
- MRI
- Mammography, where applicable
- Provide accurate and timely radiology reports.
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and relevant laboratory information.
- Perform ultrasound and other image-guided procedures as per qualification and hospital requirements.
- Participate in emergency and priority reporting when required.
- Communicate critical findings promptly to the treating physician.
- Ensure high standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, physicians, and other clinical departments.
- Maintain awareness of current radiology practices, protocols, and technological developments.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality-control standards.
- Support the hospital in maintaining high standards of radiology services.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
- 3–8+ years of experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, or multispecialty healthcare setup.
- Strong expertise in diagnostic radiology and image interpretation.
- Experience with CT/MRI/Ultrasound/X-Ray is preferred.
- Valuable clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams.
