We are looking for a technically capable and highly proactive Consultant – Electrical Licensing & Project Coordination who will be responsible for obtaining the necessary electrical licenses, permissions, clearances and statutory approvals required to commence our current electrical service connection and line extension projects in Odisha.

The candidate will be based in Patna but will be required to travel extensively to Odisha multiple times for project-site visits, government department coordination, document submission, inspections, follow-ups and obtaining the required licenses/clearances until the process is successfully completed.

This role requires a combination of electrical technical knowledge, government coordination, documentation and strong follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage the complete process for obtaining the required electrical contractor license/authorization and other statutory permissions required to commence electrical works in Odisha.
- Identify the applicable licenses, permits, approvals, registrations and clearances required for each project/site.
- Coordinate with relevant government departments, electrical inspectorate authorities, DISCOM officials and other concerned authorities.
- Prepare, collect, verify and submit all required technical and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with the company's management, engineers and project teams to arrange drawings, certificates, credentials, technical documents and other required information.
- Visit new project sites in Odisha to understand site requirements and coordinate for the necessary clearances and permissions.
- Make regular visits to concerned government offices and authorities in Odisha for submission, verification, inspection and follow-up.
- Coordinate and facilitate site inspections by concerned authorities wherever required.




- Follow up continuously until the required electrical contractor license and other project clearances/permits are obtained.
- Maintain a detailed tracker of all applications, submissions, fees, inspections, deficiencies, approvals and pending actions.
- Identify documentation deficiencies and coordinate internally for their immediate correction.
- Handle official correspondence, applications, letters, undertakings, declarations and other documentation required by authorities.
- Coordinate with local officials/representatives and project teams during the approval and licensing process.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of licenses, permits and clearances.
- Ensure that all required approvals are obtained before commencement of electrical service connection and line extension work.
- Travel to different locations in Odisha as required until the licensing and clearance process is successfully completed.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, power distribution, EPC, electrical contracting or government infrastructure projects.
- Practical knowledge of electrical contractor licensing and statutory approval processes will be highly preferred.
- Experience dealing with Electrical Inspectorate, DISCOMs, government departments or similar authorities will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of technical and statutory documentation.
- Excellent government liaison and follow-up skills.
- Good command of MS Excel, Word and preparation of official correspondence.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to independently handle documentation and follow up with multiple authorities.
- Willingness to undertake frequent and extended travel to different locations in Odisha.
- Must be proactive, persistent and capable of taking complete ownership of the licensing/approval process.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
