Role Description The Communications Specialist (Contract) will support Fantastiqo’s mission by planning, creating, and managing clear, engaging communications for internal and external audiences. This remote role involves drafting and editing written materials such as press releases, announcements, newsletters, and web content that reflect the organization’s voice and strategic priorities. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communication plans, maintain consistent messaging across channels, and ensure timely dissemination of information.





Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with stakeholders to gather content, refining messages for different audiences, monitoring communication effectiveness, and recommending improvements based on feedback and data.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Communication and Strategic Communications, with the ability to craft clear, audience-focused messages.
- Proficiency in Writing and Press Releases, including drafting and editing materials for external media and public-facing channels.
- Experience in Internal Communications, supporting staff updates, announcements, and organizational alignment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with attention to detail and consistency in tone and style.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, collaboration software, social media) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in education, e-learning, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
