Role Description The Co-Founder will play a hands-on leadership role in building The Riti’s vision, strategy, and operations from the ground up. This full-time hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home.

Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and refining the brand’s positioning around empowerment and body positivity, overseeing product and collection planning, and guiding marketing, sales, and customer experience initiatives. The Co-Founder will collaborate on business development, partnership outreach, and financial planning, while helping to establish processes across supply chain, vendor relationships, and quality control.



The role also involves hiring and mentoring early team members, representing the brand in public and digital spaces, and using data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data and research to make informed business and product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to represent the brand to partners and customers.
- Proven sales skills with experience in customer engagement, relationship building, and closing deals in retail or consumer-focused environments.
- Marketing experience, ideally in fashion or consumer brands, including brand-building, digital marketing, and community engagement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience or strong interest in early-stage startups and scaling a new venture.
- Understanding of or enthusiasm for fashion, apparel production, and body-positive design principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, marketing, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
