MK Clean Room Project Pvt. Ltd. (MKCRP) is a cleanroom solutions and industrial project execution company based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The company specializes in cleanroom infrastructure, HVAC systems, modular cleanroom panels and ceilings, laboratory furniture, and turnkey cleanroom and industrial projects.

MKCRP undertakes customized engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities for cleanroom and industrial projects. Our manufacturing operations include sheet metal fabrication and processing for cleanroom panels, HVAC ducting, and associated industrial products.

We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on CNC Laser Cutting, Punching & Sheet Metal Design Engineer to join our engineering and manufacturing team.

Position Overview The candidate will be responsible for complete sheet metal design and manufacturing activities, including AutoCAD drafting, flat pattern development, CNC laser cutting programming, CNC punching programming, bending machine programming, machine operation, production planning, quality inspection, and delivery of finished components.

The ideal candidate must be capable of understanding customer and project requirements, preparing fabrication drawings, programming CNC machines, operating production equipment, and independently managing the complete design-to-production process.

The candidate will be based at the Vadodara manufacturing facility and will be required to travel to project sites and client locations as per company requirements.

Machine Details The candidate will work with the following machines available at MKCRP:

1. TRUMPF TruLaser 1040 – CNC laser cutting machine.
2. AMADA AE255NT – CNC turret punching machine.
3. Hindustan Hydraulics EHP 110 43/31 – Hydraulic press brake / sheet metal bending machine.

Hands-on experience with the above machines or equivalent CNC equipment is preferred. Key Responsibilities1. AutoCAD & Sheet Metal Design

· Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for sheet metal components, cleanroom panels, HVAC ducting, enclosures, brackets, and fabrication requirements.

· Develop fabrication drawings, cutting layouts, bending details, and assembly drawings.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

· Prepare sheet metal flat patterns and unfolded layouts for laser cutting, punching, and bending.

· Calculate bend allowance, bend deduction, bend radius, and flat pattern dimensions.

· Select suitable material thickness, fabrication methods, and manufacturing processes.

· Coordinate with engineering, project, and production teams to finalize drawings.

· Revise drawings as per design changes, site requirements, and client approvals.

· Maintain drawing records, revisions, and production documentation.

1. TRUMPF TruLaser 1040 – CNC Laser Cutting

· Operate and program the TRUMPF TruLaser 1040 CNC laser cutting machine. · Prepare CNC laser cutting programs using AutoCAD/DXF/DWG files and available TRUMPF programming software.

· Understand laser cutting parameters for different sheet metal materials and thicknesses.

· Prepare and optimize nesting layouts to minimize material wastage.

· Select suitable cutting parameters, gas settings, and process conditions as per machine capability and material.

· Perform machine setup, sheet loading, program verification, and cutting operations.

· Monitor cutting quality, dimensions, burrs, and surface finish.

· Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary program or parameter corrections.

· Troubleshoot basic machine alarms and coordinate with maintenance teams for technical issues.





· Maintain machine setup records, production reports, and material consumption details.

1. AMADA AE255NT – CNC Turret Punching

· Operate and program the AMADA AE255NT CNC turret punching machine. · Prepare punching programs using AutoCAD drawings, DXF files, and available AMADA programming software.

· Read and interpret sheet metal fabrication drawings and punching layouts.

· Prepare flat patterns, hole patterns, punching layouts, and nesting programs.

· Select appropriate punching tools, punch-die combinations, and turret stations based on material and thickness.

· Program and execute punching operations for holes, slots, cut-outs, louvers, notches, and other sheet metal profiles.

· Optimize tool paths, punching sequences, and nesting layouts to minimize material wastage.

· Set up the machine, load sheet metal, verify tool positioning, and execute programs safely.

· Check tool condition, punch-die clearance, and machine parameters before production.

· Perform first-piece inspection and verify hole positions, dimensions, burrs, and deformation.

· Troubleshoot basic punching machine alarms, tool-related issues, and dimensional deviations.

· Maintain punching tool inventory, setup records, production reports, and material consumption details.

· Coordinate with design and production teams to resolve drawing or manufacturing issues.

1. Hindustan Hydraulics EHP 110 43/31 – Sheet Metal Bending

· Operate and program the Hindustan Hydraulics EHP 110 43/31 hydraulic press brake / sheet metal bending machine. · Prepare bending sequences and programs according to fabrication drawings.

· Select suitable bending tools, punches, dies, and machine settings.

· Calculate bend allowance, bend deduction, and flat pattern dimensions.

· Execute accurate bending of sheet metal components.

· Check bend angles, dimensions, flange lengths, and final component quality.

· Identify and correct common bending defects, including angle variation, springback, and dimensional errors.

· Perform machine setup, tooling selection, and first-piece inspection.

· Ensure proper material handling and safe machine operation.

· Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure components meet design requirements.

1. Production Planning & Manufacturing Execution

· Plan daily and weekly sheet metal production according to project requirements. · Prepare material requirements, work orders, and production schedules.

· Coordinate with design, procurement, production, quality, and project execution teams.

· Monitor machine utilization, output, production efficiency, and material wastage.

· Ensure timely completion of assigned work orders.

· Coordinate with fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing teams.

· Maintain production records, machine reports, and material consumption details.

· Support continuous improvement and reduction of manufacturing costs.

· Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished components.

1. Quality Control & Safety

· Ensure all components are manufactured as per approved drawings and specifications. · Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments and tools.

· Maintain quality standards for laser cutting, punching, bending, and fabrication.

· Identify and rectify manufacturing defects.

· Follow company safety procedures and machine operating guidelines.

· Ensure proper PPE usage, housekeeping, and safe material handling.

· Report machine faults, unsafe conditions, and quality deviations to management.

1. Client & Project Coordination

· Understand client and project requirements related to sheet metal components and fabrication.



· Coordinate with project and engineering teams for drawing finalization and manufacturing requirements.

· Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, and vendors when required.

· Prepare material and production estimates for fabrication work.

· Assist in resolving site-related fabrication and installation issues.

· Coordinate with project teams for timely delivery of manufactured components.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

· 3–7 years of relevant experience in CNC laser cutting, CNC punching, sheet metal fabrication, or CAD/CAM production.

· Hands-on experience with Trumpf laser cutting and AMADA CNC punching machines is preferred.

· Experience operating and programming CNC bending / press brake machines.

· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and sheet metal fabrication drawings.

· Knowledge of CNC programming, nesting, tool selection, and machine setup.

· Understanding of sheet metal materials, thicknesses, bend allowances, and fabrication processes.

· Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Strong troubleshooting, production planning, and team coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in cleanroom panels, HVAC ducting, sheet metal enclosures, or industrial fabrication.

· Knowledge of TRUMPF TruTops / TruLaser programming software or equivalent.

· Knowledge of AMADA programming software and CNC punching systems.

· Experience with CNC press brake programming and sheet metal CAD/CAM software.

· Ability to independently manage design-to-production activities.

· Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes and technologies.

· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month, negotiable based on experience, technical skills, and suitability for the role.

Travel & Site Expenses: Eligible travel, accommodation, and other approved expenses incurred during official project-site visits will be reimbursed as per company policy and applicable approval procedures.

Probation Period & Notice Period

Probation Period: The probation period will be three (3) months from the date of joining.

During Probation: If the employee resigns or the company terminates the employment during the probation period, a notice period of seven (7) days will be applicable, subject to the terms of the appointment letter and applicable law.

After Probation: Upon successful completion of the probation period, the notice period will be forty-five (45) days or as decided by the company, as specified in the appointment letter and applicable employment terms.

· Preferred: Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days.
