About the Role The Neuromuscular Center of Excellence — India's first accredited Duchenne Center (World Duchenne Organization) — is seeking a Pharm D graduate to serve as Clinical Research Coordinator and Registry Lead. This role combines your pharmacology and clinical trial training with hands-on ownership of the center's patient registry and research operations, positioning you at the center of the program's move toward gene therapy and drug development trial-readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Research Coordination

- Coordinate patient recruitment, scheduling, and follow-up for research studies and future clinical trials
- Support protocol development and drug-related trial documentation, drawing on your pharmacology background
- Assist with pharmacovigilance monitoring and adverse event documentation as trial activity grows
- Prepare and maintain ethics committee (IEC) submissions and CDSCO-related regulatory documentation

Registry & Data Management

- Own and maintain the center's patient/research registry (DMD, SMA, and other rare NMD patients)
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and audit-readiness across all registry entries
- Support biostatistics and data analysis for grant reporting (ICMR) and scientific submissions
- Help prepare abstracts, posters (e.g., World Muscle Society), and manuscript drafts

Program Support





- Coordinate research-related logistics with the multidisciplinary clinical team
- Support materials and documentation for global partnerships and the upcoming TREAT-NMD masterclass

Light coordination with front-office/administrative staff on research-related scheduling

Requirements

- Pharm D degree (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of pharmacology, clinical trial methodology, and GCP principles
- Detail-oriented with strong data management skills (Excel, REDCap, or similar)
- Comfortable working directly with physicians, patients, and families
- Interest in rare disease research and long-term career growth in clinical trials/drug development

Nice to Have

- Prior CRC, pharmacovigilance, or registry experience
- Exposure to regulatory submissions (CDSCO/DCGI) or ethics committee processes
- Interest in gene therapy or rare disease drug development
