The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and evolution of modern cloud infrastructure and platforms.

This is a hands-on, cloud-focused role requiring solid expertise in AWS, cloud-native technologies, DevOps, automation, security, and cloud transformation .

You will work closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available AWS and hybrid cloud architectures .
- Lead cloud migration, modernisation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Lambda, and serverless technologies .
- Design cloud networking solutions including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Load Balancers, and WAF .
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible .
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud automation .
- Embed security and governance across cloud environments, including IAM, KMS, encryption, logging, and monitoring .
- Drive cloud observability, reliability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.




- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineers.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to define cloud architecture standards and technology roadmaps.

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Technology Architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on Cloud Architecture experience , with strong AWS expertise.
- Strong experience with AWS services, cloud-native architecture, and hybrid cloud environments .
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS .
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience, particularly Terraform .
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps, and automation .
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, routing, and load balancing .
- Experience with cloud security, including IAM, KMS, encryption, and governance .
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail .
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell is advantageous.
- Experience in cloud migration, modernisation, and large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
