CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERNPosition Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Intern to join our team and gain practical exposure to real-world construction, project coordination, estimation, and project management activities.
The intern will be trained and mentored by our industry experts and experienced project management professionals, providing an opportunity to understand the complete project lifecycle—from planning and estimation to execution, quality control, documentation, and handover.
This internship is designed not only as a learning opportunity but also as a potential career pathway into our Project Management Office (PMO) for candidates who demonstrate strong technical knowledge, responsibility, communication skills, and a commitment to learning.
Key Learning & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Management team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects.
- Gain practical exposure to site execution, construction methods, and project coordination.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
- Support the team in tracking project progress, work schedules, and site activities.
- Assist in monitoring the quality of construction works and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Learn to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and construction drawings.
- Assist in site measurements, work inspections, and preparation of measurement records.
- Support preparation of project reports, progress updates, checklists, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors,
consultants, vendors, and site teams under supervision.
- Gain exposure to material planning, procurement coordination, contractor management, and work sequencing.
- Assist in identifying site issues, recording observations, and following up on corrective actions.
- Learn professional practices related to project documentation, communication, scheduling, cost control, and quality management.
- Participate in project review meetings and understand professional project management procedures.
Training & Development The intern will receive structured practical training under the guidance of experienced professionals. The training will focus on developing both technical and managerial capabilities, including: Construction & Site Management | Estimation & Quantity Surveying | Project Planning | Cost Control | Quality Control | Documentation | Procurement Coordination | Contractor Coordination | Project Monitoring | Professional Communication The objective is to develop interns into well-rounded professionals capable of taking responsibility within a project management environment.

Candidate Profile
- Civil Engineering student or recent graduate.
- Strong interest in construction and project management.
- Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and work in a team environment.
- Good understanding of basic civil engineering and construction principles.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Excel is preferred.
- Willingness to undertake site visits and gain hands-on project experience.
- A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and responsibility.
