We are looking for an experienced CICS System Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in CICS system programming on IBM z/OS environments. The role requires deep technical knowledge of CICS internals, configuration, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning. This is not an operations or monitoring role. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Install, configure, customize, and upgrade IBM CICS Transaction Server on z/OS

/n

- Perform CICS region setup and management, including AOR/FOR/TOR configurations

/n

- Define and manage CICS resources using RDO / CSD / DFHCSDUP

/n

- Administer and support CICSPlex SM environments

/n

- Handle CICS-related SMP/E maintenance, PTFs, and version upgrades

/n

- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for CICS regions

/n

- Diagnose and resolve CICS system-level issues, abends, dumps, and performance problems

/n

- Work closely with z/OS system programmers, application teams,



and middleware teams

/n

- Ensure high availability, stability, and compliance of CICS environments

/n

- Participate in on-call support for critical CICS incidents

- Strong hands-on experience in CICS System Programming

- In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS

- Experience with CICSPlex SM

- Expertise in RDO / CSD / DFHCSDUP

- Solid understanding of CICS architecture and internals

- Experience with SMP/E for CICS maintenance

/n

- Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
