Position: Chemistry Teacher (Classes VI–X)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to teach Science with a specialization in Chemistry for Classes VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective teaching skills, and the ability to simplify scientific concepts through engaging, practical, and application-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Delivery

· Teach Chemistry and General Science in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

· Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.

· Deliver engaging lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding and connect Chemistry concepts to real-world applications.

· Conduct practical demonstrations and activity-based learning to encourage scientific inquiry and analytical thinking.

· Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and conduct remedial or enrichment classes as required.

Laboratory & Student Development

· Plan and supervise Chemistry and Science laboratory sessions while ensuring adherence to laboratory safety practices.

· Encourage students to participate in Science Olympiads, STEM programmes, exhibitions, quizzes, and innovation challenges.

· Foster observation, experimentation, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.

· Mentor students through projects, laboratory activities, and experiential learning.

Assessment & Classroom Management

· Conduct formative and summative assessments, practical evaluations, projects, and assignments in line with CBSE guidelines.

· Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.

· Create a positive,



disciplined, and engaging classroom workplace.

· Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents through PTMs and academic discussions.

Technology Integration & Administration

· Utilize Smart Boards, virtual labs, simulations, LMS, Google Workspace, and other digital resources to enhance classroom learning.

· Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum planning, school events, examinations, and professional development programmes.

· Contribute to STEM initiatives, science exhibitions, and the development of academic resources and laboratory practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline.

·· Master's Degree in Chemistry will be an added advantage.

Experience

· 2–5 years of teaching experience in teaching foundation

·· Experience in JEE and NEET

Required Skills

· Ability to explain scientific concepts through practical demonstrations, experiments, and real-life applications.

· Excellent lesson planning, classroom management, and communication skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, Smart Boards, virtual labs, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
