To manage and oversee financial accounting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and compliance functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory adherence while providing strategic financial insights for business growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors for timely completion.
Manage direct and indirect tax matters, including GST, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business objectives.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks,
and opportunities for cost optimisation and improving profitability.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and controls.
Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and reports to management.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting and finance staff.
Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid certification.
Proven experience in the accounting, auditing, and taxation fields.
Robust knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
Preferred Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
