Job Summary The Carpenter is responsible for carrying out carpentry, installation, repair, and maintenance work within the facility or project site. The role includes working with wood and related materials, repairing furniture, doors, windows, partitions, and other wooden structures while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out carpentry installation, repair, and maintenance work as assigned by the supervisor.

- Construct, install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, frames, cabinets, shelves, partitions, and other wooden structures.

- Repair and maintain office furniture, tables, chairs, cupboards, desks, and other fixtures.

- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.

- Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.

- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.

- Conduct regular inspections of wooden structures and furniture and identify repair requirements.

- Perform polishing, finishing, minor modifications, and replacement of damaged components.

- Assist with partition, false-ceiling, flooring, and other related maintenance works when required.

- Maintain proper inventory and care of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.

- Coordinate with civil, electrical,



plumbing, and other maintenance teams when required.

- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work area.

- Follow all health, safety, fire-safety, and company procedures.

- Report material requirements, defects, hazards, and major repair requirements to the supervisor.

- Complete assigned work within the required time and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment.

- Ability to take accurate measurements and perform cutting and fitting work.

- Furniture repair and maintenance skills.

- Knowledge of different types of wood, boards, laminates, and hardware.

- Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions.

- Good problem-solving and practical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong focus on safety, quality, and workmanship.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
