About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Provide specialist Cardiology consultations.
- Evaluate patients presenting with cardiac symptoms and risk factors.
- Order, review and interpret appropriate cardiovascular investigations within the scope of the role.
- Develop and monitor treatment and management plans.
- Manage Cardiology OPD and IPD patients.
- Attend cardiac emergencies when required.
- Coordinate patient care with General Physicians, Emergency Physicians and other specialists.
- Perform relevant Cardiology procedures according to qualification, credentialing and hospital requirements.
- Provide appropriate follow-up care and patient education.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and professional medical ethics.
Exact responsibilities will depend on whether the vacancy is for a Clinical Cardiologist, Non-Invasive Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiologist or other Cardiology position.
Candidate Requirements
- MBBS with relevant postgraduate/super-specialty qualification in Cardiology.
- Appropriate medical registration as applicable.
- Relevant Cardiology experience according to hospital requirements.
- Strong clinical and patient-management skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
