Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a CA Industrial Trainee to join our Internal Audit Department. The ideal trainee should possess a solid understanding of audit fundamentals, banking processes, and regulatory requirements. This role offers exposure across multiple audit verticals, including Internal Audit, Concurrent Audit, Credit Audit, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, General Banking Audit, and Compliance Testing.

Key Responsibilities

Internal & Concurrent Audit

- Assist in planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits across various business units.
- Perform concurrent audits to ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
- Identify control gaps, operational risks, and process improvement opportunities.

Credit Audit & Banking Audits

- Support audits related to Credit Portfolio, including appraisal processes, documentation checks, postsanction monitoring, and credit risk assessments.
- Participate in audits within Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and General Banking Operations, ensuring adherence to policies and standard operating procedures.

Compliance & Regulatory Testing





- Conduct compliance testing in line with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the banking sector.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to RBI guidelines, internal compliance frameworks, and risk management standards.
- Support preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure timely escalation of noncompliances.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare detailed audit working papers, observations, and draft reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information, validate findings, and support closure of audit issues.
- Maintain comprehensive audit documentation for reference and regulatory review.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of Internal Audit, Concurrent Audit, and Banking Regulations.
- Basic knowledge of Risk & Control frameworks, RBI guidelines, and banking processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Educational Qualification

- CA Intermediate cleared.
- Graduation to be done
