About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of IT and business consulting experience, with a proven track record of leading successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex Quote-to-Cash initiatives, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, sales operations, product and pricing teams, IT, and offshore delivery units.

The Business

Analyst will act as a bridge between technical teams and business users, translating business needs into detailed functional requirements and ensuring the seamless delivery of Oracle CPQ solutions that enhance sales efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The position is pan-India, offering a chance to contribute to large-scale digital transformation projects across diverse industries.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and business consulting, with at least 2 successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities including product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and order handoff processes.




- Experience acting as a functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery units.
- Proficiency in leading requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots.
- Ability to document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
- Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes such as lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, asset-based ordering, renewals, amendments, and contract flows.
- Experience in CPQ product model design, configuration rules, pricing rules, quote layouts, approval workflows, and document outputs.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Experience supporting integrations with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP, CRM, and other downstream systems.
- Familiarity with change management, user training, SOP documentation, and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and discovery meetings with business stakeholders to understand and document their needs related to Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Analyze current Quote-to-Cash processes and define future-state solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability to project deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical developers, providing clarifications and guidance on CPQ configurations, customization, and integrations.




- Design and review CPQ product models, configuration rules, pricing strategies, quote layouts, and approval workflows to optimize sales processes.
- Support integration efforts with Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and other systems by defining data flows, validation rules, and functional touchpoints.
- Lead functional testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation, ensuring requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to manage deliverables, track progress, and resolve functional clarifications and open items.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, SOP documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption of the CPQ solution.
- Assess change requests, evaluate their impact, and support prioritization and release planning efforts.
- Prepare and deliver business demonstrations, process walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions for stakeholders and leadership teams.
