IMMEDIATE OPENING BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer)

Role & responsibilities

- Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and associated auxiliaries.
- Ensure safe boiler start-up, shutdown, load management, and emergency operations.
- Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, steam flow, drum level, feedwater parameters, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure optimum boiler efficiency and effective fuel utilization.
- Monitor and control combustion and steam generation parameters.
- Operate and monitor boiler auxiliaries such as feed pumps, deaerator, economizer, air heater, ID/FD fans, cooling systems, and steam network.
- Coordinate with DCS/PLC operators and other utility teams for smooth plant operation.
- Ensure proper boiler feedwater and water-treatment practices, including chemical dosing.




- Identify operational abnormalities, troubleshoot problems, and take corrective action.
- Supervise boiler operators, technicians, and shift personnel.
- Conduct proper shift handovers and maintain boiler logbooks, checklists, and operational records.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Production, ETP/WTP, and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Boilers Act, Boiler Operation Engineers' Rules, statutory requirements, SOPs, and plant safety procedures.
- Support statutory inspections, audits, preventive maintenance, and shutdown activities.
- Ensure protected working practices and promote a strong safety culture in the boiler house.
