1. Role Summary

We are seeking a highly competent and customer-focused Bodyshop Advisor to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will manage the complete customer and vehicle repair lifecycle for accident and body repair jobs—from initial vehicle inspection and damage assessment to repair estimation, insurance coordination, monitoring repair progress, final quality inspection, and vehicle delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of automotive body repair processes, accident damage assessment, insurance claims, estimation, and bodyshop operations, along with excellent customer-handling skills.

1. Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Greet customers professionally, understand accident/vehicle damage concerns, explain the repair process, and act as the primary point of contact throughout the body repair journey.

Vehicle Inspection & Damage Assessment:

Conduct detailed vehicle inspections, identify visible and underlying accident damage, document damages accurately, and prepare comprehensive repair requirements.

Job Card & Estimation:

Create accurate job cards and repair estimates covering body repair, denting, painting, replacement of parts, labour, and other required work.

Insurance & Claim Coordination:

Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers for claim processing, damage assessment, approvals, documentation, and claim-related requirements.

Workshop Coordination:

Work closely with bodyshop technicians, denting/painting teams, and parts departments to monitor repair progress, ensure timely availability of parts, and track vehicles through each stage of repair.

Customer Approvals:

Communicate repair requirements, additional damages, estimated costs, and timelines clearly to customers and obtain necessary approvals before proceeding with additional work.





Repair Monitoring:

Regularly monitor vehicle repair status and coordinate with the workshop team to ensure jobs are completed within committed timelines and according to required quality standards.

Quality Inspection & Handover:

Conduct final inspection of repaired vehicles, verify bodywork and paint quality, ensure all customer concerns have been addressed, and coordinate final billing and vehicle delivery.

Customer Satisfaction & Retention:

Handle customer queries and concerns professionally, provide regular repair updates, resolve issues smoothly, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the repair process.

1. Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Bodyshop Advisor / Bodyshop Service Advisor / Accident Repair Advisor in an authorized automotive dealership or reputable multi-brand bodyshop.

Bodyshop Knowledge:

Strong understanding of denting, painting, body repair, accident repair, part replacement, vehicle damage assessment, and bodyshop repair processes.

Insurance Knowledge:

Valuable understanding of motor insurance claims, surveyor coordination, claim documentation, approvals, and cashless/insurance repair processes.

Estimation Skills:

Ability to prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate repair costs, timelines, and additional repair requirements to customers.

Customer Handling:

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, with a strong customer-first approach.

Workshop Coordination:

Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, denting and painting teams, parts departments, insurance surveyors, and other workshop functions.

DMS & Operational Skills:

Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), digital job cards, repair estimation systems, and inventory/parts tracking tools.

Problem Solving:

Ability to handle customer concerns, insurance-related issues, repair delays, and workshop challenges calmly in a fast-paced bodyshop environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
