- Manage the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of medical and biomedical equipment.

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of biomedical equipment to ensure continuous availability.

- Conduct regular inspection and functional checks of equipment and maintain proper service records.

- Coordinate with OEMs, authorized service providers, and vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, calibration, and AMC/CMC.

- Maintain an updated Biomedical Equipment Inventory/Asset Register with equipment details, service history, warranty, AMC/CMC, and calibration status.

- Ensure timely preventive maintenance and calibration as per schedule and hospital requirements.

- Attend equipment breakdown complaints promptly and minimize equipment downtime.

- Support clinical departments in equipment installation, demonstration, operation, and basic troubleshooting.

- Ensure all biomedical equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with applicable hospital and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with concerned departments for equipment procurement, replacement, and technical evaluation when required.

- Assist in preparing technical specifications and comparative statements for recent medical equipment purchases.

- Monitor the performance of critical equipment and escalate recurring issues to the appropriate authority.





- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance reports, breakdown reports, calibration certificates, AMC/CMC documents, and service records.

- Conduct user training for nurses, technicians, and other hospital staff on the safe and proper use of biomedical equipment.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for biomedical equipment and related accessories.

- Participate in hospital quality, NABH, safety, and audit activities related to biomedical equipment.

- Ensure electrical and patient-safety requirements are followed while operating and maintaining medical equipment.

- Perform any other biomedical engineering-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualification & Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.

- Relevant experience in a hospital/healthcare environment is preferred.

- Knowledge of medical equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, ECG, infusion pumps, defibrillators, OT equipment, laboratory equipment, and other critical-care devices.

- Good troubleshooting, documentation, vendor coordination, and communication skills.

- Freshers with good technical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
