Job Purpose /n We are looking for a skilled Revit BIM Modeler with experience in Electrical BIM, Busduct/Busbar Trunking Systems, MEP services, and 3D modeling . /n The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models, shop drawings, installation layouts, and coordinated BIM models for busduct systems and associated electrical installations. /n 2.

Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Develop detailed 3D Busduct models using Autodesk Revit based on engineering drawings, electrical layouts, specifications, and site requirements.

- Prepare BIM models for Busbar Trunking / Busduct systems , including:

/n

- Associated accessories.

/n

- Prepare Revit families for busduct components and accessories as per company standards.

/n

- Create and maintain parametric BIM families with appropriate dimensions, connection points, parameters, and material information.

/n

- Generate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and layout drawings from BIM models.

/n

- Coordinate busduct routing with HVAC, cable trays, piping, structural elements, ceilings, and other MEP services .

/n

- Identify and resolve clashes/interferences between busduct and other services.

/n

- Incorporate engineering changes and maintain accurate model revisions.

/n

- Extract BOQ/BOM, quantities, lengths, component schedules, and material information from Revit models.

/n

- Prepare coordinated drawings for manufacturing and site installation .

/n

- Review drawings/models for dimensional accuracy, constructability,



and compliance with project requirements.

/n

- Coordinate with Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Production, Project Engineers, and Site Teams .

/n

- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to determine appropriate busduct routing.

/n

- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support for model-related issues.

/n

- Maintain proper BIM standards, naming conventions, layering, model organization, and revision control .

/n

- Support preparation of As-Built BIM models based on site modifications and final installation conditions.

Technical Skills

Required /n /n

- Solid working knowledge of Autodesk Revit , particularly Revit MEP.

/n

- Good knowledge of 3D modeling and BIM methodology .

/n

- Experience in creating and modifying Revit Families .

/n

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation of 2D engineering/shop drawings.

/n

- Ability to understand electrical single-line diagrams, GA drawings, layout drawings, and installation drawings .

/n

- Basic understanding of Busduct/Busbar Trunking Systems and electrical distribution systems.

/n

- Understanding of dimensions, clearances, elevations, routing, and installation requirements.

/n

- Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection .

/n

- Familiarity with Navisworks or similar BIM coordination software will be an advantage.

/n

- Knowledge of MS Excel for schedules, quantity extraction, and documentation.
