Role Description The Billing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Rela Hospital, Red Hills, Chennai. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end billing processes, including generating and reviewing invoices, verifying patient and insurance information,



and ensuring accurate posting of charges.

The Billing

Specialist will coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to clarify billing details, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date records in the hospital’s billing and accounting systems. Daily tasks include handling client billing inquiries, following up on outstanding payments, preparing billing reports, and supporting compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves communicating clearly with patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and efficiency in all billing-related activities.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Billing Process and Client Billing, with experience in healthcare or hospital billing preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Invoicing, including generating, reviewing, and reconciling invoices accurately and on time.
