Role Overview The CNC Bending Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC bending machines to fabricate precision sheet metal components used in electrical panel boards and industrial automation systems. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Operate the CNC press brake/bending machine as per approved bending drawings/programs.
- Verify material thickness, grade, part number and quantity before bending.
- Select the correct punch, die and tooling according to the bending requirement.
- Set bend angle, back gauge, bending sequence and machine parameters correctly.
- Perform first-piece inspection for bend angle, dimensions and orientation.
- Ensure correct bending sequence to avoid interference and dimensional errors.
- Maintain required bend angle, flange dimensions and overall part accuracy.
- Identify and report scratches, cracks, deformation and incorrect bends.
- Properly identify and segregate bent components for the welding process.
- Handle components carefully to prevent scratches and damage.




- Carry out routine machine checks and report breakdowns immediately.
- Follow PPE, machine safety and quality procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in CNC bending machine operation (preferably in electrical panel board manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience in electrical panel board manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of IEC/IS standards for fabrication.
- Team-oriented, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
