Compensation: ₹6 Lakh - 10 Lakh LPA, depending on practical skills, experience and interview performance

We are looking for a hands-on Backend Engineer with strong practical expertise in .NET Core, MongoDB, Redis, Microservices, production debugging and cross-platform integration.

We are open to candidates with 2+ years of experience who demonstrate excellent technical depth and the ability to independently solve real-world backend problems. Practical knowledge and problem-solving ability will be valued more than years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot backend services and APIs using C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Understand the existing application architecture and independently identify the root cause of production issues.
- Work extensively with MongoDB, including queries, aggregation, indexing and performance optimization.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable Microservices.
- Work with Redis and caching for application performance and scalability.
- Debug complex issues across APIs, business logic, databases, microservices and integrations.
- Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and other applications.
- Work with and integrate applications/services built using different technology stacks, such as .NET, Python/FastAPI, Node.js, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues across different applications, services and technology stacks.
- Review code and contribute to improving code quality, architecture and development practices.
- Work closely with other developers and provide technical guidance on complex backend issues.
- Ensure backend applications are reliable, performant and production-ready.
- Take ownership of backend issues end-to-end, from identifying the root cause to implementing and validating the fix.

Must Have

Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.





Excellent practical knowledge of MongoDB, including queries, aggregation, indexing and optimization.

Excellent practical understanding of Redis and caching.

Strong hands-on understanding of Microservices architecture.

Excellent production debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to independently identify and resolve root causes across backend services, APIs, databases and integrations.

Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.

Experience with database design, queries, indexing and performance optimization.

Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to understand and integrate different technology stacks/platforms, even when they are not built on .NET.

Ability to understand an existing codebase and independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Good to Have

Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or other messaging systems.

Experience with Docker.

Experience working with Python/FastAPI, Node.js or other backend technologies.

Experience with cloud/production environments.

Experience mentoring developers or conducting code reviews.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is genuinely strong in practical backend engineering, rather than someone who simply has a long list of technologies on their resume.

Years of experience are not the primary criterion. A candidate with 2–3 years of experience who has excellent hands-on knowledge of .NET Core, MongoDB, Redis, Microservices, debugging and cross-platform integration can be a stronger fit than someone with significantly more experience but limited practical depth.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand an existing backend system, diagnose difficult production problems, identify root causes, write reliable code, optimize performance, work across different technology stacks and take ownership of backend issues end-to-end.
