About the Role The JSS EV Centre of Excellence is looking for an Automotive Design Engineer & Technical Trainer to lead design-focused training programs in automotive and electric vehicle product development. The candidate will train students, faculty, and industry professionals using industry-standard CAD, CAE, and PLM tools while mentoring design projects and supporting industry collaborations.

The role combines technical design expertise with academic delivery and hands-on laboratory guidance.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Training

Deliver classroom and laboratory sessions on:

- Plastic Trim Design
- Sheet Metal Design
- Surface Modelling
- Wiring Harness Design
- Battery Pack Packaging
- Thermal System Packaging
- Suspension Systems
- Steering Systems
- Braking Systems
- Interior & Exterior Components
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
