The Role (AutoCAD 2D Only)
We run an automated modular cabinetry and custom panel-processing factory in South Delhi. We are hiring a dedicated AutoCAD 2D Designer / Draughtsperson focused strictly on technical production drawings.
(Note: This is a purely technical 2D drafting position. We do not require 3D visualizers, 3ds Max artists, or general interior stylists.)
Core Responsibilities
- Produce millimeter-accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details in AutoCAD.
- Detail modular carcass dimensions, internal shelf/drawer partitions, shutter sizing, and hardware drilling coordinates (hinges, runners, tandem boxes, lift-ups).
- Cross-check drawings against physical site measurement sheets before files are released to CNC nesting and panel processing.
- Execute fast revisions based on site feedback and factory edge-banding/machining tolerances.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
- Software: Proven speed and accuracy in 2D AutoCAD (clean layers, standard dimensioning, block management).
- Domain Knowledge: Practical understanding of modular construction (carcass sizing, 18mm/9mm panel deductions, edge-banding thickness allowances, handle-free/Gola clearances).
- Personal Laptop: Must have your own functioning laptop capable of running AutoCAD smoothly for daily production work. If not willing to get one.
- Conveyance: Must possess your own transport (two-wheeler or four-wheeler) for a reliable commute to Jaunapur and occasional site verification visits.
- Work Setup: Base office at Jaunapur (near Chhattarpur Metro). Women candidates seeking a structured hybrid mode (factory coordination + work-from-home drafting) are encouraged to apply.
