Role Description The Asst.

Training

Manager for Medical Representatives is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The position is responsible for planning and conducting training programs for medical representatives on product knowledge, therapeutic areas (with emphasis on Ayurvedic and pharma products), selling skills, and compliance standards. Day-to-day activities include designing training modules, preparing training materials and assessments, delivering classroom and field training sessions, and monitoring performance improvement. The role also involves coordinating with sales and marketing teams to align training with organizational goals, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and supporting new joiners with induction and onboarding.



Immediate joiners are preferred and will be expected to quickly integrate into the team and training schedule.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in training design, delivery, and evaluation, with experience developing structured learning modules for medical or pharmaceutical sales teams.
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical and preferably Ayurvedic products and therapies, including antibiotics, pain management, gastrointestinal, gynecological, and nutritional segments.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex medical and product information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring of medical representatives, including conducting role-plays and field visits.
- Organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple training batches, schedules, and documentation while meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience in pharma sales, medical representative training, or L&D; in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Management or Training & Development is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site setting in Mumbai, with readiness for occasional travel for field training or regional programs.
