Role & responsibilities

- Monitor enterprise network infrastructure end-to-end, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution across all retail and corporate locations.

- Conduct periodic firewall health checks, rule reviews, and firmware updates to maintain a solid perimeter security posture.

- Lead network provisioning and commissioning for new store setups, including LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN links, and point-of-sale connectivity.

- Design, implement, and troubleshoot VLAN configurations to support segmented, secure traffic flows across retail and back-office environments.

- Manage and enhance the SD-WAN fabric, monitoring link performance, configuring policies, and optimising failover to ensure store uptime SLAs are met.

- Collaborate with ISPs, firewall OEMs, and managed service providers to resolve escalations and drive service improvements.

- Maintain up-to-date network documentation including topology diagrams, IP schemas, and change logs.





- Support cybersecurity initiatives by identifying network-level vulnerabilities and implementing hardening measures.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in Science, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration, preferably in a multi-site retail or distributed setting.

- CCNA certification required; additional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

- Solid working knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet / Palo Alto / Cisco ASA), VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN platforms.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix).

- Willingness to travel to store locations for current setups, audits, and troubleshooting.

- Robust documentation habits and a disciplined approach to change management.
