Studio TreeSpace is a boutique architecture and design practice based in Goa, specialising in thoughtfully designed holiday homes, villas, resorts and residential communities. We focus on creating architecture that is rooted in its context, materiality and the experience of living.

Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong architectural fundamentals, good design sensibility and the ability to independently manage drawings and coordinate with consultants, contractors and the site team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept development through execution.
- Prepare and review working drawings, detailed drawings, construction drawings and documentation.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations, details and architectural layouts with strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape and interior consultants.
- Review drawings and ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site teams to resolve design and technical issues.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections and communicate design requirements to the execution team.
- Prepare material specifications, schedules and details as required.
- Assist in design development, presentations and client meetings.
- Manage junior architects and coordinate drawing production within the team.




- Track project deliverables, drawing submissions and deadlines.
- Identify potential design or execution issues and proactively propose solutions.
- Maintain high standards of design quality, documentation and construction detailing.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in an architecture practice.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office.
- Knowledge of 3D visualisation / rendering software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, construction methods and building services.
- Ability to read and coordinate structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
