Role Description The Associate Accountant is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

The Associate

Accountant will support monthly closing activities, reconcile bank and vendor accounts, and help prepare basic financial reports and documentation for audits. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation,



compliance with company policies, and timely processing of payments and invoices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or 0-1 years of experience in accounting are an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic taxation, invoicing, and compliance processes in a corporate or events/creative industry setting is preferred.
