Assistant Manager – Tender

Location: Dwarka, Delhi

Experience: 3–5 Years

Industry: Government / Public Sector Tenders

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Tender with strong hands-on experience in Government and Public Sector tendering, particularly on the GeM and IREPS portals. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process from tender identification and documentation to bid submission, reverse auction, and post-bid activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Tender Management

- Handle the complete tendering process from tender identification to order execution/acceptance.
- Monitor GeM, IREPS, and other government e-procurement portals for recent tenders, bids, corrigenda, and amendments.
- Evaluate tender requirements, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
- Ensure timely submission of bids within prescribed deadlines.

1. GeM & IREPS Operations

- Manage end-to-end bidding activities on the GeM Portal.
- Handle bid creation, BOQ preparation, bid submission, and reverse auctions.
- Handle complete tendering activities on the IREPS Portal.
- Maintain and update tender-related information and submission status.

1. Technical & Commercial Documentation

- Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid documents as per tender requirements.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, purchase, and other internal departments for required documents and approvals.
- Ensure all required certificates, declarations, EMD, tender fees, authorizations, and supporting documents are submitted correctly.
- Review tender documents carefully to ensure compliance with all requirements.

1. Works Tender Management





- Should have sound knowledge of Works Tenders and their end-to-end process.
- Handle tender preparation, documentation, submission, clarifications, negotiations/reverse auctions, and post-bid formalities.
- Understand tender conditions, BOQ, scope of work, eligibility criteria, and commercial requirements.

1. Compliance & Coordination

- Ensure compliance with Government, PSU, Central and State Government tender norms.
- Coordinate with internal departments and management for timely approvals and decision-making.
- Follow up on tender-related queries, clarifications, corrigenda, and amendments.
- Ensure adherence to tender deadlines and submission requirements.

1. Post-Bid Activities

- Handle post-bid activities, including:
- Order acceptance
- Purchase/work order documentation
- Performance/security-related documentation
- Submission of additional documents
- Communication with concerned departments/authorities
- Maintain proper records of awarded, rejected, and ongoing tenders.

1. MIS & Record Management

- Maintain an updated Tender MIS and tender tracking sheet.
- Maintain records of submitted, awarded, rejected, and ongoing tenders.
- Track important dates, submission deadlines, bid status, and post-bid activities.
- Prepare regular tender-related reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Government/PSU tendering.
- Hands-on experience on IREPS Portal is mandatory.




- Strong knowledge of GeM Portal and government e-procurement portals.
- Strong understanding of Government tendering procedures and documentation.
- Good knowledge of Works Tender process from end to end.
- Strong understanding of technical and commercial bid documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PDF handling, and documentation.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.
- Additional certification/course in Tender Management, Government Procurement, or e-Procurement will be an added advantage.

Preferred Profile
- Candidates with experience handling PSU, Central Government, and State Government tenders will be preferred.
- Experience in railway/industrial/manufacturing-related tenders will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with e-procurement portals other than GeM and IREPS.
- Strong understanding of tender eligibility, BOQ, technical specifications, commercial conditions, EMD, and other tender-related requirements.
- Candidates who can independently handle the complete tendering cycle will be preferred.

Attention to Detail Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
