About the Role

We are looking for an AI/ML Intern to help build and improve the intelligence behind Samvaad, an AI-powered mental wellness platform focused on providing personalized and culturally relevant emotional support.

You will work on conversational AI, LLM integration, emotional context, personalization, and AI safety.

Responsibilities

- Integrate and work with LLM APIs and conversational AI systems.
- Develop prompts and response logic for Samvaad’s AI companions, EmoBot and BroBot.
- Work on conversation memory and emotional continuity.
- Explore methods for detecting emotional patterns, mood, and changes in conversational tone.
- Improve personalization based on user conversations and historical context.
- Implement AI safety and responsible-response mechanisms.
- Test AI responses for accuracy, relevance,



empathy, and consistency.
- Work closely with the backend and Flutter teams to integrate AI functionality.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of AI/ML and NLP concepts.
- Familiarity with LLMs and APIs.
- Understanding of prompt engineering.
- Basic knowledge of databases and APIs is a plus.
- Strong interest in generative AI and conversational systems.

Positive to Have

- Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or similar APIs.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
- NLP/ML project experience.
- Understanding of AI safety.
