Application Architect - GCP Cloud Native & AI

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect to design and guide the development of cloud-native applications using React, NestJS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role will drive application architecture, engineering best practices, AI integration, and scalability across enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Define application architecture for React, NestJS, and GCP-based solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications using microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Establish standards for APIs, integrations, application design patterns, and development practices.
- Architect AI-powered solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG, and AI agents.
- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship to development teams.
- Drive CI/CD, containerization, observability, and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of application development experience with 5+ years in an architect role.
- Solid expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.




- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, BigQuery).
- Strong architectural knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
- Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
- Experience using Claude Code and AI-assisted software development practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments

Preferred Skills

- Good to have experience in Healthcare domain and FHIR
- Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud-native modernization initiatives.
- Experience with API Gateway, Authentication (OAuth/OIDC, EntraID, IAM), and cloud security best practices.
- Good to have Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer.
