Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an AP Chemistry Teacher. The AP Chemistry Teacher will design and deliver online lessons that align with AP Chemistry curriculum standards, including preparing instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.

Daily responsibilities include conducting live or recorded classes, explaining complex chemical concepts clearly, and guiding students through problem-solving and laboratory-style activities in a virtual format. The teacher will provide regular feedback on student performance, hold virtual office hours, and communicate with learners and families to support academic progress. The role also involves monitoring student engagement, adapting teaching strategies based on learner needs, and collaborating with WinQuest Online staff to maintain course quality.

- Candidates should possess strong Chemistry Education knowledge, including advanced chemistry content aligned with AP standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, with experience delivering structured lessons and supporting diverse learners in an online workplace.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning abilities to design clear, sequenced, and standards-based instructional materials.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for explaining complex concepts, providing feedback, and interacting with students and families.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with related STEM fields such as Physics to support interdisciplinary understanding when needed.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience teaching AP or advanced high school courses, proficiency with online learning platforms and digital tools, and a student-centered instructional approach.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science Education, or a closely related field is preferred; relevant teaching certification or credentials are an advantage.
