About the Role

We are looking for a confident, articulate, and camera-friendly Anchor to host podcasts, interviews, and other video-based content.

The candidate will be responsible for hosting conversations with guests, conducting engaging interviews, researching topics and guests, asking relevant questions, maintaining a natural flow of conversation, and creating an engaging experience for the audience.

The ideal candidate should have a strong on-camera presence, excellent communication skills, a curious and engaging personality, and the ability to interact comfortably with people from different backgrounds and professional fields.

Key Responsibilities

Host and anchor podcasts, interviews, discussions, and other video content.

Conduct engaging and professional conversations with guests, professionals, entrepreneurs, experts, and other personalities.

Research guests, topics, industries, and relevant background information before each recording.

Prepare thoughtful, relevant, and engaging questions for interviews.

Lead conversations naturally while maintaining the flow and purpose of the discussion.

Listen actively and ask appropriate follow-up questions based on the guest's responses.

Create a comfortable and engaging environment for guests during recordings.

Introduce guests, topics, and episodes in a clear and confident manner.

Maintain good energy, expressions, body language, and audience engagement throughout recordings.

Handle both planned and spontaneous conversations confidently.

Adapt the interview style according to the guest, topic, and format.

Coordinate with the content and production team before and during recordings.

Participate in pre-interview discussions and content planning.

Suggest interesting topics, guests, questions,



and formats for upcoming episodes.

Maintain professionalism and appropriate communication while interacting with guests.

Ensure accurate pronunciation of names, brands, organizations, and technical terms.

Participate in promotional content, short-form videos, reels, teasers, and other social media content when required.

Review recorded content and provide inputs regarding the quality and flow of the conversation.

Maintain consistency in presentation style and represent the organization professionally on camera.

Participate in photoshoots, promotional activities, events, and other content-related activities when required.

Perform other hosting, content, and communication-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, English, Marketing, or any relevant discipline preferred.

1–5 years of experience in anchoring, hosting, podcasting, interviewing, journalism, media, content creation, or a similar role preferred.

Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong on-camera personality may also apply.

Excellent verbal communication and conversational skills.

Confident and comfortable speaking in front of a camera.

Strong presence, personality, and ability to engage an audience.

Good listening and spontaneous response skills.

Ability to conduct conversations naturally without sounding overly scripted.

Strong research and preparation skills.

Good command of English; knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi will be an added advantage.





Professional appearance and confident body language.

Ability to interact comfortably with people from different backgrounds and professions.

Ability to handle unexpected questions or changes during a recording.

Basic understanding of social media and digital video content preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively with the content, production, and creative teams.
