The Anaplan Tester will support BAU and change testing for Anaplan Workforce Planning, P&L;, and Balance Sheet models. The role is focused on validating calculations, data integrity, reporting outputs, and financial accuracy within Anaplan.

Note: This role does not include User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Testing activities are limited to system, functional, regression, and BAU validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute functional and regression testing for Anaplan models, including:
- Workforce Planning
- Profit & Loss (P&L;)
- Balance Sheet
- Validate workforce data, including:
- Headcount
- FTE
- Payroll and actuals
- Validate financial statement data within Anaplan, including:
- P&L; measures (labor expense, OPEX, allocations, variances)
- Balance Sheet measures (accruals, reserves, payroll‑related balances, period‑over‑period movements)
- Perform end‑to‑end system validation across Anaplan models (Hub & Spoke where applicable).
- Test Reporting Hub dashboards and reports for:
- Workforce metrics
- P&L; and Balance Sheet outputs




- Cross‑model reconciliation and consistency
- Validate actuals, forecast, and plan scenarios against defined business rules.
- Log defects with clear reproduction steps, data impacts, and supporting evidence.
- Retest fixes and support defect closure.
- Maintain test documentation and evidence to support release readiness.
- Support monthly BAU cycles and post‑deployment validation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands‑on experience testing Anaplan models (mandatory).
- Experience testing P&L; and Balance Sheet logic within Anaplan (mandatory).
- Robust understanding of:
- Workforce Planning concepts (Headcount, FTE, Payroll, Actuals)
- Financial statements (P&L; and Balance Sheet)
- Strong data validation and analytical skills.
- Experience working in offshore delivery models.
- Ability to execute defined test cases independently and meet delivery timelines.
