- Safely operate the hospital ambulance for patient transfers, emergency calls, and inter-hospital transportation.

- Ensure timely and safe transportation of patients while following traffic and road safety regulations.

- Assist nursing/medical staff in patient loading, unloading, and safe movement when required.

- Check the ambulance before every shift and ensure fuel, tyres, lights, brakes, siren, oxygen, stretcher, and emergency equipment are in proper working condition.

- Maintain the ambulance in a clean, hygienic, and ready-to-use condition.

- Respond promptly to emergency transport requirements and coordinate with the concerned hospital staff.

- Follow all hospital policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.

- Maintain required vehicle documents, records, and trip/transport logs.

- Report any vehicle malfunction, accident, damage, or maintenance requirement immediately to the concerned authority.

- Coordinate with the Emergency Department, Nursing Team, Security, and other departments for smooth patient transportation.





- Maintain confidentiality and qualified conduct while handling patients and their attendants.

- Ensure the ambulance is parked safely and remains available for emergency requirements.

- Perform basic checks and support first-response/emergency preparedness as instructed by the hospital.

- Carry out any other duties assigned by the management related to ambulance operations.

Qualification & Requirements

- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Transport Driving Licence as applicable.

- Previous experience as an Ambulance Driver is preferred.

- Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment will be an added advantage.

- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.

- Ability to remain calm and responsible during emergency situations.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and emergencies.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
