- Aerospace Product Development & NPI End-to-end experience in developing aerospace precision components from customer drawing/3D model through manufacturing feasibility, process development, validation and production release.
- DFM / Manufacturing Feasibility Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, drawing interpretation, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, critical characteristics and manufacturability review.
- CNC Machining Expertise – Strong practical knowledge of CNC Turning, VMC 3-axis, 4+1 axis and 5-axis machining, including machining strategy, tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, tool life and cycle-time optimization.
- Aerospace Materials & Processes – Working knowledge of Aluminium alloys, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel/Nickel alloys and other aerospace materials, including heat treatment and surface/special processes.
- Process Engineering – Ability to develop complete manufacturing process plans, operation sequences, setup sheets, tooling/fixture requirements, inspection methods and standardized work instructions.
- CAM & Manufacturing Strategy – Ability to work closely with CAM programmers and review/optimize machining strategies, toolpaths, tooling, workholding and machining parameters; hands-on CAM experience is preferred.
- APQP / Aerospace Quality Planning – Strong understanding of APQP, process flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, process validation and production readiness; AS9145 exposure is preferred.
- FAIR / AS9102 – Practical experience in Aerospace First Article Inspection, ballooned drawings, characteristic identification, FAIR preparation, dimensional validation and resolution of FAIR issues.
- AS9100 & Aerospace Requirements – Good understanding of AS9100 QMS, customer specifications, configuration control, traceability,



engineering changes and aerospace compliance requirements.
- Process Capability & Statistical Analysis – Experience with Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk, SPC, MSA and capability studies, particularly for critical aerospace characteristics.
- Process Validation & Prove-Out – Hands-on experience in CNC prove-out, first-off development, process validation, capability improvement and successful transfer of new products to production.
- Problem Solving & Quality Improvement – Strong knowledge of 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why, Fishbone, corrective action, NCR/MRB and process-related problem solving.
- Lean & Continuous Improvement – Experience in cycle-time reduction, setup-time reduction, SMED, tool-cost reduction, scrap/rework reduction, productivity improvement, OEE and Kaizen.
- Engineering Change Management – Ability to evaluate and implement drawing revisions, process changes, tooling changes and customer engineering changes while maintaining configuration control.
- Cross-Functional Leadership – Ability to work effectively with Design Engineering, CAM, Production, Quality, PPC, Tooling, Supply Chain and Customer/Program Management teams.
- Hands-on Manufacturing Mindset – Must be capable of working directly on the shop floor, understanding machining problems, supporting operators/programmers and converting engineering requirements into stable production processes.




- Documentation & System Discipline – Strong capability in preparing and maintaining process plans, PFMEA, Control Plans, work instructions, setup sheets, tooling documents, capability reports, APQP and FAIR documentation.
- Cost & Productivity Focus – Ability to develop processes that achieve required quality, delivery, cost and productivity targets while maintaining aerospace compliance.
- Digital / Advanced Manufacturing – Exposure to Industry 4.0, manufacturing data analysis, digital work instructions, automation, process monitoring and smart manufacturing is an advantage.

The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Aerospace New Product Development and Manufacturing Process Development, with the ability to independently take a component through:

1. Customer Drawing / 3D Model
2. DFM & Manufacturing Feasibility

3. Process Planning
4. APQP / PFMEA / Control Plan

5. CAM / Machining Strategy
6. CNC Prove-Out

7. FAIR / AS9102

8. Process Capability
9. Production Release.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in aerospace precision component manufacturing.
- Experience in an AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing workplace is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining and new product development is essential.

Preferred Technical Skills

- 5-axis machining and complex aerospace component manufacturing.
- NX CAM, Mastercam, HyperMill or equivalent CAM software.
- AS9100, AS9145 and AS9102 requirements.
- GD&T; / ASME Y14.5.
- SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk and Pp/Ppk.
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, SMED and process optimization.
- Industry 4.0, automation and digital manufacturing.
