About the Role :

We are looking for an accomplished and commercially driven Head of AI to lead the organization's Artificial Intelligence strategy, solution development, client engagements, and AI-led business growth.

The ideal candidate will bring 15 - 17 years of strong experience across AI, Data, Analytics, and technology solutions, with proven exposure to AI services and solutioning within a service-based IT/technology environment.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a combination of deep AI and data expertise, business acumen, client-facing capability, solution architecture, team leadership, and strategic thinking. The individual will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior leadership to identify opportunities and translate complex AI capabilities into scalable, commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy &

- Leadership :
- Define and drive the organization's AI vision, strategy, roadmap, and transformation agenda.
- Identify emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and use cases that can create business value.
- Establish AI frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects and client engagements.
- Provide strategic direction on AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Act as a senior technology thought leader and AI evangelist internally and externally.

2.

Client

Engagement &

- Solutioning :
- Engage directly with CXOs, technology leaders, business heads, and key client stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities.
- Lead discovery workshops, requirement discussions, solution conceptualization, and AI transformation conversations.
- Translate business requirements into AI/data-driven solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead solutioning for complex AI opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, proposals, POCs, and client presentations.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to identify, qualify, and convert AI-led opportunities.
- Present AI capabilities, use cases,



solution propositions, and business value to senior client stakeholders.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key clients and position the organization as a trusted AI partner.

3. AI Services &

- Solutions :
- Drive the development and delivery of AI-led services, consulting offerings, accelerators, frameworks, and reusable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to develop differentiated AI offerings aligned with market demand.
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, responsible, and commercially viable.
- Provide oversight and guidance across AI solution architecture, data strategy, model development, deployment, and MLOps.
- Evaluate the applicability of Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and other emerging technologies across business use cases.

4. Business &

- Commercial Leadership :
- Work closely with sales, pre-sales, delivery, and account management teams to drive AI-led revenue growth.
- Support strategic account planning and expansion through AI and data propositions.
- Contribute to pricing, estimation, proposal strategy, and commercial discussions for large AI engagements.
- Build a strong AI services portfolio aligned with customer demand and competitive positioning.
- Track market developments and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities.

5. Team &

- Practice Leadership :
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing AI, Data Science, ML, and analytics teams.
- Establish capability-building initiatives, hiring strategies, career paths, and technical development programs.
- Create a culture of innovation, experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with engineering and technology leaders to strengthen AI delivery capabilities.
- Provide technical and strategic mentorship to senior architects, data scientists, ML engineers, and solution leaders.

- Strong expertise across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and modern AI architectures.
- Proven experience in AI services, consulting, solutioning, or technology-led AI engagements.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, AI/ML platforms, and production AI environments.
- Excellent solution architecture and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to connect technology solutions with business outcomes and ROI.
- Ability to work effectively across sales, pre-sales, delivery, engineering, and business teams.
- Strong people leadership and organizational capability-building skills.

Experience Requirements :

- 15 - 17 years of overall experience in AI, Data, Analytics, Technology, or related domains.
- Significant experience in AI/ML and data-driven solution development and implementation.
- Prior experience in an IT services / technology services / service-based organization is preferred.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles involving solutioning, consulting, pre-sales, or strategic technology engagements.
- Experience managing senior client stakeholders and complex enterprise engagements.
- Demonstrated experience leading AI teams, practices, or large-scale AI initiatives.

Preferred Background :

Candidates from IT Services, Technology Services, Digital Transformation, AI Consulting, Data &

- Analytics, or Technology Solutions organizations would be preferred.

Experience of working with multiple enterprise clients and building AI-led services or solutions will be highly valued.
