About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant Expert to join our agile team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our ongoing projects focused on training and evaluating next-generation AI systems. As a Senior Accountant Expert at Synthires, you will utilize your extensive accounting knowledge to review complex financial and legal documents, assess business scenarios, and provide critical feedback to enhance AI training datasets.

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your professional expertise in a technology-driven environment, contributing to innovative AI initiatives without requiring prior AI-specific experience. The role is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams across different locations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of corporate-level accounting experience, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.



A strong understanding of audit procedures, regulatory standards, and financial modeling is essential. Candidates should have proven experience reviewing legal and financial documents for accuracy and completeness, along with excellent communication skills to articulate findings clearly.

Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams are critical. Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, or AI model evaluation is preferred but not required. A growth mindset and interest in contributing to AI training initiatives are highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Review and evaluate financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assess audit procedures, identify gaps, risks, and best practices, and recommend improvements.
- Create and analyze financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights.
- Review tax compliance practices and documentation, identifying potential risks and issues.
- Analyze legal and financial documents for clarity, correctness, and regulatory adherence.
- Provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback on project materials in both written and verbal formats.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and deliverables.




- Support the development and evaluation of AI training datasets using accounting expertise, including data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation where applicable.
- Apply professional judgment to evaluate complex business scenarios and contribute to AI system training processes.
