HIRING – ACCOUNTANT & SHOP EXECUTIVE Location: Chennai Tribal Mountain Full-Time

We are looking for a highly accurate, responsible and experienced Accountant to take care of the accounts and financial records of our shop.

This is primarily an accounting role, so strong accounting skills, attention to detail and accuracy are extremely important.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle all day-to-day accounting using Vyapar software
- Accurately record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
- Check all purchase and sales invoices carefully for rates, quantities, GST and totals
- Maintain and reconcile cash, bank and UPI transactions
- Track customer outstanding payments and supplier dues
- Maintain proper records of all transactions and supporting bills
- Regularly check accounts for mistakes, discrepancies or missing entries
- Keep accounts completely up to date and organised
- Assist with GST-related records and provide accurate information to our CA when required
- Maintain and check stock records along with purchase entries
- Handle basic billing and other shop-related accounting work

Additional Responsibilities As we are a small team, the person will also be expected to help with the general running of the shop when required.

During free time, responsibilities will include:

- Making sales calls to restaurants and potential customers




- Introducing and pitching Tribal Mountain products
- Following up with potential customers
- Helping with day-to-day shop operations

The Person We Are Looking For
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience
- Good working knowledge of Vyapar
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Extremely accurate and detail-oriented
- Should be positive with numbers and able to identify accounting mistakes independently
- Should understand basic GST, purchase/sales invoices and reconciliations
- Must be comfortable handling financial information and transactions
- Honest, responsible and trustworthy
- Should be able to work independently without constant supervision
- Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and customers
- Willing to take responsibility and be part of a small, hands-on team

Important: We are looking for a proper accountant, not someone who only does basic data entry. The person should understand the accounts, regularly check their own work and be able to identify and correct discrepancies. Salary: ₹12000– ₹20000 per month, depending on experience and ability.
