Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, preferably from the construction industry. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting work, maintaining financial records and coordinating with vendors, contractors and management.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping work.
- Record and maintain purchase, sales, payment, receipt and expense transactions.
- Maintain cash book, bank book, ledgers and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain vendor, contractor and customer accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including payment follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation regularly.
- Check bills, invoices, vouchers and supporting documents before recording transactions.
- Maintain proper records of site-wise expenses, purchases and payments related to construction projects.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements and coordinate with the CA/consultant.
- Prepare basic accounting statements, financial workings and MIS reports as required by management.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors,



suppliers, banks and internal departments for accounts-related matters.
- Ensure all accounting records and documents are updated, accurate and properly maintained.
- Support management in payment planning and regular financial record keeping.

Must-Have Knowledge & Skills
- B.Com graduate with 3–4 years of practical accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
- Construction industry accounting experience/knowledge will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally or other accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Practical understanding of GST and TDS.
- Knowledge of vendor, contractor and site-related accounts.
- Good understanding of bank reconciliation, ledgers, payments and receipts.
- Ability to identify accounting errors and maintain accurate records.
- Should be able to handle accounts work independently with minimum supervision.
- Valuable communication, coordination and time-management skills.

Candidate Preference
- Candidates from Khopoli and nearby locations will be preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable working full-time from the office.
- Preference will be given to candidates with construction company experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
