Accountant – E-commerce Company

Job Responsibilities

- Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
- Maintain and reconcile bank, cash, customer and vendor accounts.
- Manage e-commerce platform reconciliations, including orders, settlements, returns, cancellations, refunds, commissions and deductions.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and maintain proper records.
- Prepare monthly reports, P&L;, outstanding reports and other management reports.
- Coordinate with vendors, auditors and other internal teams for accounting-related requirements.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and regular inventory audits to identify stock discrepancies, shortages, excess stock and system-vs-physical stock differences.
- Verify purchase invoices, stock entries, sales invoices and inventory movements.
- Track and reconcile inventory across warehouse, e-commerce platforms and accounting records.




- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in accounting/ERP software.
- Assist management in identifying financial discrepancies, errors and process gaps.

Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an E-commerce / Retail / D2C company.
- Solid knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel and accounting principles.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and e-commerce settlements/reconciliations.
- Experience in inventory reconciliation and inventory audit will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience handling accounting and reconciliation for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Myntra or other e-commerce marketplaces will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
