We are seeking a motivated Accountant / Trainee Accountant eager to build a career in core accounting and taxation. This role offers hands-on exposure to compliance, audit, litigation support, and modern tech-driven accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of GST returns and TDS returns.
- Assisting with Income Tax Return (ITR) filings and Income Tax Audits.
- Supporting senior staff in drafting replies, preparing document sets, and handling tax notices/appeals.
- Day-to-day accounting in Tally and bank/vendor reconciliations in MS Excel.
- Utilizing AI tools and prompts to automate routine tasks, draft communications, and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (UG in B.Com/BBA).
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliations).
- Familiarity or solid interest in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation prompts) to speed up research and drafting.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and willingness to learn complex tax matters.
