Role Description This is a full time remote role for an Accountant at Japline Infra. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, assist with internal and external audits, and provide accurate financial reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.



Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to maintain transparent, timely financial information and support overall business performance.

Qualifications

- Strong financial accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and preparation of balance sheets and income statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and basic financial modeling to support planning and performance review.
- Familiarity with tax compliance, statutory reporting, and coordination with auditors for financial reviews and audits.
- Hands-on experience using accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP or similar), and strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications working under CA and handling Accounts department independently are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure sectors, particularly PEB or steel-related industries, is a plus.
