About the Role

Balar Builders is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliances, purchase accounting, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST calculations, returns, reconciliation, and related documentation.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, returns, and compliance.
- Manage purchase entries, invoices, and vendor accounts.
- Maintain proper records of expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain and verify vendor/customer ledgers.
- Prepare accounting reports and assist with month-end closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants for accounting and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Robust practical knowledge of Purchase Accounting and Invoice Processing.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of accounting principles, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently handle day-to-day accounting activities.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, hospitality, or a related industry will be an advantage.
- Candidate should be responsible, organized, and comfortable handling statutory compliance work.
