Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The role will involve preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial data.

The Accountant will also support tax compliance, coordinate with auditors, and help maintain internal controls and documentation for regulatory and management reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, requiring close collaboration with the finance and operations teams.



The position may also include participation in process improvements, implementation of accounting best practices, and support for financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and comfort with digital record-keeping.
- Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities with accuracy.
- Experience with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Understanding of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Vadodara.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are a plus.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role in a corporate or skilled services environment is preferred.
